
Matt Teuten is a Massachusetts based editorial, portrait and documentary event photographer. His career began shooting the large and diverse music community in the Boston area and quickly grew to include shooting for news outlets and commercial cliental nationally and internationally. His work is known for a wide range of engaging visual styles. He feels that a sense of place and connection must be maintained in images, and that this allows the subject as well as the viewer to engage more in the final product. Matt truly enjoys translating the world around us into a visual medium. His passion for photography extends beyond the commercial world. He was a a faculty member at Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging from 2005 to 2012. Matt continues to teach workshops for private groups and profesional organizations including the American society of media photogrphers. When not shooting assignments, teaching or traveling the world for personal work and of course the occasional fishing trip, he lives in Boston
